The Music of JAKE HORSEY
JAKE HORSEYI am currently working on an Album entitled 'Silent Sea'. The songs are a mixture of praise, complaint, and longing stirred by the unseen: God, Truth, Enlightenment... The Beloved. There is an ancient saying that 'there are as many paths to Truth as there are human beings.' Music is my craft and my songwriting reflects my journey to Enlightenment. Religion is irrelevant. Since God is love, God's abode must be the heart. Really though I am utterly hopeless when it comes to answers or directions. Language does not touch that which simply Is. All ideas, conjectures, and beliefs dissolve back into the sea. Love alone prevails. And the Beloved's face reflected on a silent sea... All of my songs are written for, and inspired by my Master and Friend Meher Baba; the embodiment of Truth, Beauty, and Love.
