Dave Muir
photographer
Dave Muir is a passionate photographer and film maker based in Cornwall England. Dave Muir is chasing the light, shooting timeless surfing imagery, travelling the World with his super 8 camera and losing sleep thinking about his next photo shoot.
Dave Muir is inspired mostly by photographers - Steve McCurry, Guy Le Querrec and Martin Parr.
First Camera - his fathers Canon A1. Dave Muir says in regards to this camera 'still the best 35mm I have used and I continue to use it most days.'
Currently using - Hasselblad 500c with Portra 160nc and Velvia Slide film. Canon A1 with 1986 expired kodachrome slide.
Muir still uses his Canon 30d but mainly when he is in the sea or has run out of money to shoot film.
super 8 film is Dave Muir's real love. It is so costly but timeless and we look forward to more short films on super 8 from this passionate and talented photographer.
