Dick Hoole

Dick Hoole is right in the middle of the Switch-foot publication, without his help none of this would be like it is today. A movie maker (Stormriders and Tubular Swells with Jack McCoy) a magazine producer and major contributor, a distributor, a facillitator and an all round legend in Australian surfing, Dick has a library of images that are now finally becoming recognised, particularly his shots of Michael Peterson and other 1970's icons. Today the 'Classic Surf Ccompany' (Dick and Mex Sumpter) are still distributing surfing films, helping organise surfing functions and generally right in the middle of an undercurrent within surfing that is all about the fun.
