'Sol Train' is an experimental album that has several styles of music on it. From rock, to instrumental covers, to pop variations and event a 30 minute ambient expression featuring Dave Rastovich on percussion. Ash Grunwald is featured on Who Knows guitar duelling with Sol Carroll in this Jimi Hendrix standard. Dylans Wings, written about an old friend who passed away is perhaps the most celebrated track on this recording, for the passion that comes out hearing Sol Carroll sing about the loss of a close friend. Title track Sol Train, short punchy rock track with a blues bent. This album has been previously unavailable and has never been launched commercially.
Kicking off with bluesy grooves that will have your body moving like an interpretive dancer, the album gradually melts into soothing, zen-like instrumentals from a parallel universe. The Culmination is a 38 minute exploration into the utterly soothing, featuring 'rastas' salad bowl hung drum. 'US Surfing Magazine'
