This page was set up on April 2nd to help pay for a dignified send off for surfing superstar, MICHAEL PETERSON, at his funeral on Thursday April 5th at the Tweed Heads Memorial gardens.
At the time of creating this page nobody had come to the aid of Michael's mum, Joan, to help cover the cost of the funeral, anticipated to be $8000AU....and needless to say MP didnt have a funeral plan.
This pledge campaign was organised on behalf of Joan, MP's mother, who turns 80 in June. The pledge campaign ran for one week and raised over $7000 with support coming from all over the world. . .
